Electoral College Calculator

There are a total of 538 electoral votes up for grabs in the election. 270 electoral votes are needed to win a majority and the presidency. The winner of the popular vote in each state wins all of the electoral votes from that state. In Maine and Nebraska, one electoral vote is awarded to the winner of the popular vote in each congressional district while the remaining votes are awarded to the winner of the statewide popular vote.
